A complete short cookery course for beginners, students or cooks lacking confidence and knowledge.
Whether you have never cooked before, consider yourself to be a failure kitchen wise or want some fresh ideas for better food,
this course will show you how to make quick and easy nutritious food with lots of ideas for improvisation and adaptation.
We focus on basic cooking skills essential for everyday life.
At the end of the second day you will leave with new recipes, new skills and confidence to create delicious food for yourself and your family or flatmates easily and cheaply.
The first day covers soups, one pot cooking, eggs and curries
The second day focuses on leftovers, sauces, stir fries and sweet treats.
Skills covered include knife skills, browning meat & casseroling, cooking with fish, cooking with eggs, cooking with vegetables, simple sauces, baking, steaming, stocks, salads, nutrition, portion sizes, kitchen hygiene.
Course times can either be organised over 2 consecutive days, 1 day over 2 weeks or 2 months or 3 half days.
1 to 1 tuition up to a maximim of 4 people, plenty personal attention.
