There is nothing more nutritious than an egg. It contains a little bit of every nutrient we need and has all sorts of health benefits from reducing bad cholesterol, reducing the risk of heart disease, keeping our eyes in good condition and giving us a good source of choline, essential for cell membranes and brain function. But what about cooking eggs?   They can be tricky! Turning rubbery, dry or collapsing. On this half day, hands on course Jenny will be helping you master some of the trickier aspects of egg cookery including boiling, poaching, whipping and folding eggs. The types of dishes you will be making include:
  • Scotch Egg
  • Whisked Sponge
  • Rosti with Poached Egg
  • Souffle
